As a mechanical design engineer, he has worked in the consumer electronics industry for almost 20 years. He has worked on the design of various consumer products such as cell phones, two-way radios, dishwashers and various other consumer electronic products and holds several US design patents on many of the products he helped to develop.

Our goal is to design, manufacture and distribute the highest quality products from plans, kits, and accessories and then back them with unparalleled customer service. All of our designs are engineered using a state-of-the-art 3D CAD program as well as the latest in manufacturing processes to produce all of our our products. Our plugs, forms and components are tooled straight from the original 3D CAD data which ensures the highest quality reproduction.

Our designs also include features that other model aircraft designs do not. All of our designs include built-in build tabs and interlocking parts that take the guess work out of positioning ribs and adding washout. We also include one piece fuselage bulkheads and interlocking parts that speed build time and reduce alignment errors, and it doesn't stop there. What separates WingSpan Models is attention to detail by including other scale features like functional gun turrets, scale bulkhead detail, compartment floors, and operational bomb bays capable of delivering a full complement of bombs just like the full size aircraft. All this goes into producing a far superior end product that takes your model to the next level of scale detail.

I have been building and flying radio controlled aircraft for over 20 years and after looking at the plans on the market from the other designers I saw a need for something better; so I decided to engineer my own and Wingspan Models was born. I found that other aircraft designs were leaving out some very important details. With so many factors influencing an aircraft's performance there is more than just design involved, it requires sound engineering practices to ensure that the airframe is light as well as strong. Because I am a modeler first and foremost, I will strive to make the best possible product and that means listening to our customers to see what improvement can be made.
